Scouts set to flock to reserve match
Ian Harte and Seth Johnson are just two of the players in the shop window on Tuesday as Leeds reserves take on Middlesbrough in Wakefield.
It is a chance for Boro to take another look at Johnson after watching him when he came on against West Brom on Saturday.
Robbie Fowler also has a runout for the reserves after leaving the first-team bench 11 minutes from the end.
The former Liverpool striker did hardly any training last week because of his talks with Manchester City. Tuesday's match will be a magnet for scouts, with United looking to sell before Terry Venables can add to his squad.
Third-choice goalkeeper Danny Milosevic has joined Crewe on a month's loan and is expected to make his debut against Shrewsbury Town on Tuesday. Earlier in the season Milosevic had his loan spell at Plymouth cut short by a knee injury.
The decision to let Milosevic out on loan suggests Nigel Martyn is staying at Elland Road after speculation that he could be joining Arsenal, Martyn will play for the reserves with young keeper Scott Carson on the bench.
Leeds reserves: Martyn; Farren, Duberry, Kilgallon, Harte; Burns, Seth Johnson, McPhail; Milner, Fowler, Singh.
Subs (from): Cansdell-Sherriff, McMaster, Woods, Simon Johnson, Folan, Winter, Cronin, Carson.
