Vanhat Leeds-pelurit

Taidettiin katsoa sama ottelu

In Leeds, there was a goalie great,
Whose skills were never up for debate,
David Harvey was his name,
And his place in history he did claim.
With cat-like reflexes and a steady hand,
He defended his team's every command,
He leaped and dove with grace and speed,
A true hero to Leeds fans in need.
For over a decade, he stood his ground,
And many a victory for Leeds he found,
He lifted trophies high and proud,
A testament to his skill and sound.
Though his playing days are now long gone,
His legacy still lives on and on,
David Harvey, a legend of the game,
Forever in the annals of football fame

Tahtomattani naurahdin, kun luin kännykäni tarjoaman uutisen "Bayer München kaavailee todellista shokkisiirtoa Man Citystä"

Facen The Football Communitystä lainattu:

This is Scott Carson, he is a goalkeeper, he is 38 years old and he plays for Manchester City. He has played just TWO GAMES in the last FIVE SEASONS and is the third choice goalkeeper. Why do City have him in the squad?
The Premier League allows teams to have 25 players named in the squad, but 8 of them must have spent at least 3 years as a youth player in an English team. In order to comply with the regulations, City have filled that slot with Carson, developed at Leeds United since he was 15 years old...
In 2022, in the Champions League, against Sporting Lisbon, the veteran goalkeeper entered the field of play as a tribute and received a standing ovation from the entire crowd. That was his second game in a City shirt.
He gets £30,000 a week which means his yearly salary is £1.4m a year!
